2026-2027 Funding Cycle

The United Way of Caldwell County funding cycle is CLOSED.

If you are a Health and Human Service Agency/Program, a registered NC 501(c)3 non-profit agency, and are interested in applying for grant funding, please check in during Spring 2027.

About our Allocations Process
Every year, registered nonprofits and local agencies are welcome to apply for our upcoming funding cycle.

Applicants complete an extensive application process, submit financial information, share measurable outcomes, and request funding.

Our Board of Directors and volunteers from our community form our Allocations Committee and hear presentations from each agency, ask questions, and evaluate the impact of their work.

Funding decisions are based on a variety of factors including: community need, program effectiveness and outcomes, number of people served, financial stewardship and sustainability, and alignment with United Way's mission and key impact areas.

This process is designed to be fair, transparent, and equitable. By bringing together volunteers with diverse perspectives, we ensure that funding decisions are made thoughtfully and responsibly, with a focus on investing donor dollars where they can make the greatest impact.
