Community Mental Health Survey Results

We launched a community mental health survey in July 2026 to gain insights and perspectives into what our community wanted to see. These insights will help us shape the future of mental health and well-being in Caldwell County.

What's keeping people from getting help?

We asked what the three biggest barriers were to receiving mental health care in Caldwell County.

Cost, wait times, and lack of providers made up our top three barriers, followed closely by stigma, not knowing where to go, and transportation barriers.

What Be Well Caldwell will focus on first

Our community gave us clear directions: Connecting people to resources, youth mental health, and community education.

Improving mental health and well-being is not something one organization can tackle alone. We are always looking to learn from others, support those already doing the work, and make new connections. Please reach out to us if you have ideas or want to partner with us!

In Spring of 2026, we convened meetings with local community partners to learn about their strengths, weaknesses, and insights into mental health in Caldwell County.
